Q: How did you first become involved in the fitness industry?

I got involved in the fitness industry in high school! I started by interning with an athletic trainer, and personal trainer. After that, I decided to get my bachelor’s degree in exercise and movement science. Since graduating I have always been involved in health and fitness in some way. My journey at Shifted started three years ago, and it’s amazing to see how much I have grown and learned since being here.

Q: What are your favorite and least favorite movements?

Favorite: As silly as it sounds it’s hard for me to pick 1 favorite movement because I love a lot of them, but if I had to narrow it down, I would say chest to bar pull-ups!

Least Favorite: By far rowing!

Q: What is a Fun Fact about you?

A fun fact about me is that I am currently in PT school, oh and I am left-handed!

Q: What is your favorite food?

My favorite food would have to be sushi! However, I really really love chips and salsa so that would be a close second.

Q: What is your favorite hobby outside of Crossfit?

Rock climbing! I just discovered it this last year thanks to some awesome friends, and I am hooked!

Q: If you could meet and hang out with one person for a day, who would it be?

This is hard! I would have to say my grandpa, he was one amazing man!

Q: What goals do you have for yourself?

My long-term goal is to be able to inspire everyone that walks through our doors at Shifted. Whether it’s just simply being someone who believes in them, or whether it’s showing them what women are capable of!
